He's back!

We've missed a month of pictures because our old camera completely died. So there are no pictures to share of Copper learning to crawl, then learning to surf the furniture, learning to get food into his mouth by himself and Sierra's latest trip down here. Oh, well. We have a brand new camera and are back at the crazy parent picture taking! Enjoy, I know you've all missed him!

Tomales Bay

Happy 30th birthday to Sean and happy Father's Day to Brett. While I slaved away at the hospital playing with, oops! I mean examining puppies and doing surgery on a turtle, everyone else traveled up to Tomales Bay. A beautiful afternoon by the bay and as many oysters as anyone could stand.

NorCal Pirate Festival

Go Pirates!

This kid totally upstaged everyone.

Constant canon exposions as they fought off the ship in the bay!

This is all I got to see of the ship but it was fully manned with pirates and cruised back and forth all day.

All hail mighty Copper, Lord of the Bay! And isn't his mermaid cute ;)?

Wish we got more pictures of the people. Everyone was decked out it top notch pirate costumes.

The band stand.

Tired lil pirate.

Pirate casual wear for the modern tech savvy pirate on the go.

The Nelsons Visit

Parents/grandparents/great grandparents made it down for 4 action packed days of touring San Francisco and soaking up baby love. I know we all had fun, but are all a bit sad today after our goodbyes.

Perfect picture spot near Crissy Fields. The weather was not so perfect, though.

Hanging out in Fisherman's Wharf

Another perfect photo op at Baker Beach.

At Sutro Baths.

Hanging out at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park.

Randy laughing at Copper, who was too stuffed to move.

Gigantic plant of some kind near the Conservatory of Flowers.

Getting bibbed up for our crustacean feed at Craw Station.

Homemade Surprises!

There was a silly Facebook chain event after New Year's to inspired people to get crafty and make homemade gifts for 5 of your Facebook friends. I'm finally done! It took me 6 months, but I think that's pretty good considering Copper takes up most of my crafting time. These are all crocheted from patterns online or in my Amigurumi books. I picked out a special pattern for each of my 5 friends (you know who you are), but it'll be a surprise for them to find out which one will show up in the mail!
